Position Summary
The Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader is responsible for leading a crew to maintain high-end residential and commercial properties. This role requires hands-on leadership, strong communication skills, and the ability to ensure jobs are completed efficiently, safely, and to company standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a landscape maintenance crew on a daily basis
- Oversee mowing, pruning, edging, mulching, and bed maintenance
- Ensure quality control across all assigned properties
- Train and mentor crew members
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment
- Communicate with clients professionally when needed
- Manage daily schedules, route efficiency, and job completion
- Enforce safety procedures and company policies
Qualifications
- 2+ years of landscape maintenance experience required
- Previous leadership or crew lead experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of plant care and maintenance practices
- Ability to manage time, crew productivity, and job quality
- Valid driver’s license (required); clean driving record preferred
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
