Position Summary
We are seeking a hardworking, detail-oriented Landscape Maintenance Crew to join our maintenance division. In this role, you will work as part of a team to provide maintenance for high-end properties, ensuring they remain manicured and healthy year-round.
Key Responsibilities
- Property Manicuring: Perform routine maintenance tasks including precision mowing, string trimming, edging, and blowing off hard surfaces.
- Horticultural Care: Assist with weeding, mulching, and “deadheading” perennials and flowering plants to maintain a clean, vibrant look.
- Pruning & Trimming: Perform light pruning of shrubs and ornamentals (up to 12 feet) to promote natural growth and health.
- Seasonal Clean-ups: Execute spring and fall clean-ups, including debris removal and cutting back perennials or grasses.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate and help maintain various landscaping power tools, such as zero-turn mowers, blowers, and hedge trimmers.
- Professionalism: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, follow safety protocols (PPE), and interact politely with clients as a uniformed representative of the company.
Qualifications & Skills
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform strenuous manual labor in various weather conditions, including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, and standing for long shifts.
- Attention to Detail: A commitment to excellence and “doing it right the first time” to meet high-end client expectations.
- Teamwork: Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with crew leaders and other team members.
- Reliability: Punctuality and a positive, motivated attitude are essential for success in our structured environment.
- Experience: Previous landscaping experience is preferred but not always required for entry-level roles; we value the ability to learn our specific horticultural standards.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license with a clean record is strongly preferred.
