About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join the team to service the Eastern Pennsylvania & Southern New Jersey clients. This role involves preventative maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, replacements, and installations of commercial HVAC systems. The ideal candidate is dependable, technically proficient, and values exceptional customer service.
As part of the service team, you will oversee the maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment, ensuring systems run efficiently and reliably. This is a hands‑on role requiring strong technical skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on a variety of commercial HVAC systems, including:
- Chillers, boilers, water source heat pumps, cooling towers, package rooftops, split systems, controls, pumps, and VAVs
- Work on key building types: Office, Flex, Warehousing (no cold storage)
- Service the Eastern Pennsylvania & Southern New Jersey clients
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematic drawings
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships
- Apply problem‑solving skills to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently
- Maintain organization and attention to detail in all tasks
- Work efficiently to maximize productivity and minimize downtime
- Carry and climb ladders up to 40 feet
- Participate in after‑hours on‑call rotation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial HVAC service experience
- High School diploma or GED required; technical school education preferred
- EPA certification (must have)
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to drive
- Must pass drug test and background check
- OSHA certification a plus (not required)
- Physical ability to perform tasks including: climbing, carrying 75 lbs+, bending, reaching, kneeling, crawling, push/pull, working at heights and in confined spaces
