What You’ll Do:
- Install electrical wiring, conduit, cable equipment, and fixtures using hand and power tools
- Perform underground PVC rough-in for utility transformers, plaza electrical service, and site lighting
- Progress to interior rough-in work including MC cable, lighting, and basic electrical systems
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, conduit drawings, schematics, and specifications
- Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctioning systems using test equipment
- Ensure all work complies with National Electrical Code (NEC) standards
- Collaborate with construction teams to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into building plans
- Work with low-voltage systems and apply knowledge of logic controllers
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Journeyperson Electrician or similar role
- 5+ years of experience in commercial electrical systems.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and electrical schematics
- Familiarity with a wide range of power tools and testing devices (ohmmeters, voltmeters, etc.)
- Strong understanding of electrical theory, NEC standards, and safety practices
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team to meet project deadlines
- Experience in renovating and upgrading existing electrical systems a plus
